Ms.
Karen B. Angelbeck, Esq. is
a Vice President at C. R. Vince & Associates, Inc.
Karen B. Angelbeck brings
nearly eleven years of litigation experience to her position as Claims Counsel
at C.R. Vince & Associates. Ms.
Angelbeck’s responsibilities include investigation, liability analysis,
defense and resolution of both litigated and non-litigated professional
liability matters for our clients.
Prior to joining C.R. Vince &
Associates, Ms. Angelbeck was engaged in the private practice of law in Chicago,
Illinois. She represented clients in
a variety of legal matters including commercial litigation, commercial real
estate litigation for both developers and contractors, employment litigation for
both employers and employees, corporate tax litigation, and commodities and
securities law. Ms. Angelbeck
litigated cases before state and federal courts, as well as administrative
tribunals and agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,
National Association of Securities Dealers, National Futures Association,
Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the American Arbitration Association.
Ms. Angelbeck served as an Administrative Hearing Officer for the City of
Chicago’s Personnel Board and has been a presenter to the Illinois Insurance
School on employment law matters.
Ms. Angelbeck graduated with honors from Indiana University where she
received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Ms. Angelbeck received her J.D. from DePaul University, College of Law.
She has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 1993 and is a member of
the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of
Illinois.
